
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, has said that detectives attached to the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department, on February 26, 2022, arrested a 26-year-old girl suspect, identified as Oluwatoyin Joshua, for killing her boyfriend, Olayinka Adebayo, during a quarrel, which arose over disagreement on the sharing formula of N3,000 given to them by a ‘good Samaritan’.

The Commissioner, who was speaking through the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, at a briefing which was attended by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), at the Police Command, Ikeja, Lagos, said the victim was killed when the assailant used a kitchen knife on him during a fight, The Trumpet gathered.
“The suspect on the said day, stabbed the deceased, Olayinka Adebayo ‘m’ aged 27, to death with a kitchen knife while fighting over the sharing of three thousand naira given to them by a ‘Good Samaritan’.
