FG approves three new federal polytechnics

Three new federal polytechnics have been approved by the Federal Government in line with its determination to make tertiary education more accessible.

The polytechnics will be sited in Umunnoechi, Abia State; Orogun, Delta, and Kabo in Kano. According to a statement by the Director, Press and Public Relations, the Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Bem Goong, the new institutions are to commence academic activities in October 2022, The Trumpet gathered.

The statement noted that this brings the number of federal polytechnics in the country to thirty-six (36). It added that all states of the Federation now have one federal polytechnic each.
