Costa Rica 2022: Falconets will be world’s best, Musa assures Nigerians

Falconets Head Coach Christopher Musa has assured Nigerians the team will make them proud with a successful outing in the World Cup by putting in their best The Trumpet gathered.

Musa, in a statement to the FIFA media, after the world cup draws, reiterated to Nigerians to expect nothing but the best from the Falconets in Costa Rica 2022 world cup event.

“We’re coming to the World Cup to do our best, but also to do our country proud and be the best in the world,” Christopher Musa assured.

Meanwhile, France, Canada, and the Korean republic are optimistic about edging their opponents in the game including Nigeria

The teams which fall in the same Group C as Nigeria have their coaches foretelling a favourable outcome in the tournament.

According to France’s coach, Sonia Haziraj, who agreed that the tourney will be a tough one among the 16 competing teams, however, vowed that France is prepared to weather the storm to dislodge any team that comes along their way to victory.

“It’s a tough group but, then again, they all are. You’ve got 16 top teams and we know that if we want to go all the way in the competition, we need to beat the best. We’re prepared for that, though. We need to make sure the players are all pulling in the same direction and that they’re ready to go the distance at this World Cup,” Haziraj boasted.

Following this, Cindy Tye, head coach of Canada revealed that the Canadian ladies are anxious to meet with their opponents on the competitive ground to take on them squarely.

She said, “The girls can’t wait to face their opponents. We’ll be coming up against different styles of play, which will be a real challenge for us. We can’t wait to take it on, though.”
