Erastus Awortu, Andoni Council Chairman, who confirmed the development, said the suspects were on illegal medical mission to the local government without proof of qualifications.

He said the suspects, who are quacks, had even performed surgeries on some unsuspecting victims before they were caught.

While condemning the act, Awortu said the suspects have been handed over to the police for further investigation, with a view to uncovering their true intention.
