Eriksen picks United over Brentford

Denmark international and former Tottenham midfielder, Christian Eriksen has opted to join Manchester United than renew his contract with London club Brentford.

Eriksen joined Brentford in the second half of last season after coming back from a life-threatening cardiac arrest in Euro 2020 but with the player’s deal having come to an end, he has chosen to join Erik ten Hag in Old Trafford.

According to emerging reports which reveal the player would be signing a three-year deal with the Red Devils to keep him in the club until 2025, Eriksen agreed in principle to reunite with the United boss.

The 30-year-old will undergo a medical soon before completing a permanent switch subject to an agreement on personal terms. The Trumpet Gathered

Eriksen’s choice of United over Brentford is more than the monetary value according to reports from England as the player considered certain factors while he mulled over the offers.

Should the player complete the move, he would be among the first players to have been signed for the Red Devils since Ten Hag took over from United’s interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
