Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has attributed the increase in building collapse in the country to quack engineers.

Engr. Rasheed Babalola, who represented the President of NSE, Engr. Tasiu Saad Idari-Wudil, stated this at the 2022 Engineering Week of the Akure branch of NSE.

Babalola urged society to do away from patronizing unqualified engineers, adding that the body is advocating government and other institutions in ensuring that ethics are upheld in all ramifications.
