By Oviri Kelvin

Emmanuel Dennis, the Nottingham Forest striker, has reportedly reached an agreement for a transfer to Turkish League team, Istanbul Başakşehir, on the deadline day.

According to veteran transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Super Eagles forward is poised to finalize a loan deal with Başakşehir, with no option to buy.

Although Emmanuel Dennis was previously linked to Adana Demirspor, he has ultimately chosen to make the move to Başakşehir.

This decision comes after being excluded from Nottingham Forest’s squad and falling down the pecking order under head coach Steve Cook. He has yet to play a single minute for Forest this season, with Taiwo Awoniyi, Chris Wood, and Anthony Elanga being preferred options.

Dennis, who joined Forest from Watford, had an impressive record of 10 goals and 6 assists for Watford but struggled to meet expectations at Forest.
