Delta NGOs commend President Tinubu for Okotete’s ministerial appointment. 

The Forum of Delta State NGOs has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Hon Stella Okotete as the ministerial nominee from Delta State.

In a statement signed by the forum coordinator, Deacon Okezi Odugala which was made available to the press, the forum expressed their happiness with the president for appointing a grassroots developer, competent professional and people-friendly daughter of Delta State that has contributed immensely to societal development both in the private and public sector.

“We believe with her vast experience she will contribute greatly to the federal executive council in delivering the renewed hope agenda of the president for the sustainable development of our country. ”

The forum as the foremost NGO coalition in Delta State partnering for policy formulation and execution projects advocacy and monitoring states its readiness to partner with the honourable minister in delivering the dividend of good governance to Deltans and Nigerians.

The release added, “We want to advise sponsored mischief makers to desist in their campaign of calumny against the ministerial nominee as she has paid her dues from the local level with a legacy of civil society engagement mostly in the areas of women empowerment and gender mainstreaming in our nation.” The statement concludes.
