Cristiano Ronaldo apologises for destroying a fan’s phone
Cristiano Ronaldo has apologised for his outburst after Manchester United lost to Everton at the Goodison Park on Saturday.
Ronaldo, who was traumatic after the game, was captured in footage by EvertonHub destroying the phone of a supporter.
Manchester United, struggling to qualify for a top-four spot ahead of next season’s Champions League, fell to a first-half goal by Everton’s Anthony Gordon.
However, Ronaldo took to his Instagram to apologise to the fan revealing that the outcome of the game got a greater part of him.
Appealing to the fan to make amends for his misdeed, Manchester United forward has invited the supporter to Old Trafford to watch a game The Trumpet gathered.
He said, “It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing.
“Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient, and set an example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game.

“I would like to apologise for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship,” Ronaldo added.
With what seems more unlikely for Manchester United to qualify for next season’s Champions League, the Red Devils have won only one out of their last five games.
