Coalition congratulates Taraba governor-elect, tasks him on effective leadership

The Taraba chapter of the Coalition for Better and Brighter Nigeria (CBBN), has congratulated the governor-elect, Kefas Agbu, on his emergence as the winner of the gubernatorial election conducted in the state last Saturday.

Led by its coordinator, Envengelist Philip Munlip, the group made available to media practitioners copies of their congratulatory message, “we are here to congratulate the governor-elect, Kefas Agbu, on his resounding victory at the March 18 poll.”

Reeling out how Agbu swept the election with over 257,000 votes to emerge winner the group said they extend their warm facilitation to the governor-elect and the good people of the state.

The group noted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state offered the most credible and qualified governorship candidate for this election and is optimistic that the much-desired growth will be heralded to the state by the governor-elect.

“With Agbu Taraba state will be back on track in delivering good governance and justice for all Tarabans. We hope for a robust economy of the state under his (Agbu) leadership as governor of the state”

They also commended the leadership of the party for coming out with a credible governorship candidate and for effectively mobilizing its members to participate fully in the electoral process.
