Christmas: Elomaz Foundation fetes widows, Orphanage homes

In the spirit of the festive season, Elomaz Foundation, a non-governmental organisation based in Oleh, Isoko South local government area of Delta State, has doled out food and sundry items to widows and Orphanage Homes in Isoko nation.

The items distributed include bags of rice, vegetable oil, maggie, tomato pastes, indomie and sanitary pads.

While presenting the items to the beneficiaries, the Director General of Elomaz Foundation, Chief Mrs Veronica Odogu, said that the gesture was to share and show love to the less privileged.

She said, “It is the corporate social responsibility of Elomaz Foundation to take care of the less privileged in the society,” adding that, the beneficiaries were selected from every community across Isoko nation.

“By January, we will award Scholarships to the best student in each class across some selected schools in Isoko nation, each school will have 6 beneficiaries that will be given scholarships under the Elomaz Foundation Students assistance scheme.

“Also we are set to register over 1000 students for JAMB next year, coupled with our free jamb lectures. And all these projects are done single-handedly by the founder of the foundation, Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and they are not politically motivated.”

Orphanages visited by Elomaz Foundation are Aruka peace Foundation International, Ozoro, Children Revolutionary Foundation, Irri and Ugholeh Orphanage home, Oleh.

Receiving the items, Rev. Dr Mrs Agbaka Peace, founder, Aruka Peace Foundation International, and Prophet Great Abraham, founder, Children Revolutionary Foundation, appreciated Elomaz Foundation for the kind gestures and prayed for God’s blessing and protection for Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and his family.
