President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday called on Nigerians to vote for the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu as well as for other candidates vying for different political offices on the platform of the party.

Buhari stated this at the presidential campaign rally of the APC which was held at the Muhammdau Dikko stadium in Katsina state.

He said that despite some setbacks, his administration had been able to achieve meaningful development in major sectors and that Tinubu would build on them if he becomes the next president.

He, however, called on Nigerians to forgive the lapses by his government, even as he prayed for them to call on their families and friends to vote for the APC in all elective positions in the country.

Tinubu, who assured to tackle insecurity if given the opportunity to become president, commiserated with the state government over the loss of several lives who were killed by terrorists last week Wednesday in Kankara council.
