Breaking: Ken Nnamani losses out as APC releases Unity list

Joshua Omoloye, Abuja

Former Senate President, Ken Nnamani lost out of the power play in the All Progressives Congress (APC) as his name was conspicuously missing on the unity list which was cited by our correspondent before the commencement of voting at the ongoing national convention of the party at the Eagles Square, Abuja.

Before the final list came out, it was believed that Sen Nnamani will be the consensus Deputy National Chairman (South).

But instead, the name of Sen. Emma Eneukwu from Enugu State was prominently featured on the list.

Those who made the APC Consensus List are; Senator Abdullahi Adamu (Nasarawa) as National Chairman, Sen. Abubakar Kyari (Borno) as Deputy National Chairman (North), Otunba Iyiola Omisore (Osun), National Secretary and Barr. Festus Fuanter (Plateau) as Deputy National Secretary.

Others are; Muhazu Bawa Rijau (Niger) as National Vice Chairman North Central, Mustapha Salihu (Adamawa) as National Vice Chairman North East, Salihu Lukman (Kaduna) as National Vice Chairman North West, Dr Ijeomah Arodiogbu (Imo) as National Vice Chairman South East, Chief Victor Giadom (Rivers) as National Vice Chairman South-South, Chief Isaac Kekemeke (Ondo) as National Vice Chairman South West.

The position of National Legal Adviser was assigned to Barr. Ahmed El- Marzuk from Katsina, Uguru Mathew Ofoke from Ebonyi as National Treasurer, Bashir Usman Gumel from Jigawa as National Financial Secretary, Suleiman Argungu from Kebbi as National Organising Secretary, Barr. F. N. Nwosu from Abia as National Welfare Secretary and Barr. Felix Morka from Delta as National Publicity Secretary.

Also on the unity list are; Sen Abubakar Maikafi from Bauchi as National Auditor, Dr Betta Edu from Edo as National Women Leader, Abdullahi Dayo Israel from Lagos as National Youth Leader and Tolu Bankole from Ogun as Special (Persons with Disabilities) Leader.
