Nigeria police reaches agreement with international agency on safety, security

In order to strengthen internal accountability, deepen public trust and enhance the protection of human rights, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has entered an agreement with the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), US Embassy, signalling an international collaboration.

At a meeting, which was held at the Force Headquarters, Abuja on Thursday, The Trumpet gathered that the Force Provost Marshal deliberated with the Program Officer of INL Washington D.C., Dr Mark Hove, and his team.

The Force PRO, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, and the head of the Police Complaint Response Unit were also present at the meeting.
