Former Madrid forward Gareth Bale is considering a move to Cardiff City which is a club in his home country that play in English Championship.
Bale whose contract with Madrid ends on June 30, is exploring various options to put him in shape before the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Welsh joined Madrid from Tottenham in 2013, signing a six-year deal reported to be circa €97m. He was instrumental to Los Blancos Champions League success in 2017/18 where he scored a brace in the final

According to the player’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, who responded to a Spanish report insinuating that it will be of huge sacrifice for the Welsh whose weekly income in Madrid was about €700,000 to join the Bluebirds, noted that Bale’s move will not be influenced by money.

However, the report opined that Cardiff City’s move will not be the best option for the captain of the Wales national football team, who is eager to feature in his country’s first world cup after 66 years.
Meanwhile, MLS clubs and English Premier League clubs have been reported to be on his trail with Tottenham Hotspur, the club where he broke into European prominence before Real Madrid snapped him, among the list.
While the media dabble on the 32-year-old next move after Madrid’s era, the Spanish report said that the proximity between Cardiff City and Wales FA, sharing the same training ground, will help Bale access the team’s doctors and physios.
