Arsenal to allow Okonkwo leave Emirates on permanent deal

Arsenal have agreed to allow the England-born Nigerian to leave the Emirates on the permanent deal, to further his footballing career, after he returned from Sturm Graz on loan at the close of last season.

The 21-year-old shot-stopper, who grew through the ranks of Arsenal academy still has a year left in his contract until 2024. He wants to explore new challenges after the north-London club consented he could leave on a permanent basis.

According to emerging reports from London, several clubs in England and Europe are studying the situation to swoop on the shot-stopper, who played for England U18 and earned four (4) international caps in the process without conceding a goal.

However, it is still sketchy which clubs are monitoring the situation to indicate interest in the player as at the time of filing this report.
