APGA is the third force in Nigeria – party chairman

By Gabriel Elozino

Chairman of the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Elder Afam Ememokwu, has said the party remains the third force in the country, insisting that it was not a party for the Ibo ethnic nationality alone.

Afam, who spoke to journalists on Wednesday at Asaba, Delta State capital, said, “APGA is the third-largest political party in Nigeria with political office holders in many parts of the country.”

He said the party can presently boast of the likes of Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe, former Minister of Information, Frank Nweke (Jnr) and many others both in the national and state assemblies. The Trumpet Gathered

Ememokwu explained that the mass followership of Chief Great Ogboru is a great asset to the party and the state owing to the prowess he has made in the political arena of Delta State, just as he urged the electorates to identify with the party come 2023.

Ememokwu however expressed optimism that with the deployment of Voters Enrollment Devices (IVED) and the use of Bi-modal Voter Verification System (BIVAS) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), election rigging and other electoral malpractices would be minimized.
