Amotekun Leader Becomes Ondo Special Adviser On Security Matters

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has approved the appointment of the Commander of the Ondo State Security Network (Amotekun Corps), Chief Adetunji Adeleye as his Special Adviser on Security Matters.

The appointment of Adeleye, the governor says, takes immediate effect.

Chief Adetunji adeleye will, however, continue to function as the Commander of the Ondo State Security Network (Amotekun Corps).

In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Richard Olatunde said the appointment was part of the efforts of the Governor to further reinforce the security arrangement and improve the working relationship between government and security agencies in the state.

However, while congratulating the new special adviser, Akeredolu urged him to double efforts in the fight against crime and criminals in the state.
