Al-Hilal make £259m world-record bid for Mbappe

Saudi club Al-Hilal have made a of bid of 259million pounds for French and Paris-Saint German (PSG) star, Kylian Mbappe which will make him the highest-ever in the history of football.

Mbappe, who is rumoured to be courted by Spanish giant, Real Madrid that have not hidden their intentions to bring him to the Bernabeu, would become the highest sold should he accept the move to Al-Hilal.

Al-Hilal, finishing third in the Saudi elite league behind Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr, are determined to bolster their ranks ahead of the forthcoming football season.

More so, the club have also signed Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio. The addition of the 24-year-old PSG forward would exacerbate that Al-Hilal, this coming season, are prepared to challenge for the Saudi Pro League trophy.

Although, the report emerging from Saudi Arabia regarding the 2018 World Cup winning star who became the second teenager to score in a World Cup Final after Pele of Brazil is yet to be confirmed from PSG, it added that Mbappe would earn 13million euros per week should he accept the offer.
