Ebonyi 2023: PDP alleges APC stockpiling arms for guber, assembly polls

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)in Ebonyi State, said it has uncovered plans by the ruling All Progressives (APC) of stockpiling AK-47riffles for the forthcoming governorship election in the state.

The opposition party alleged that the information at its disposal revealed that the plan is to use the newly formed two security outfits to perfect their act.

The Director-General of PDP campaign council, Chief Austin lgwe Edeze, stated this while briefing newsmen on Sunday in Abakiliki.

Edeze called on the Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) to without further delay, cancelled the February 25 elections in the state describing the entire process as a sham.

” The report from the polling units is nothing to write home about. APC, the ruling party in Ebonyi State has perfected plans to use AK-47 riffles across the 171 Electoral wards to win the gubernatorial election at all cost.

He called on the security agencies in the state to swang into action ensuring that they mop up all the guns the APC led government is stockepiling to cause Meyhem.
