
Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA) has declared open admission process into the Department of Mass Communication for the 2021/2022 academic session The Trumpet gathered.
Recall that the department was accredited by the National University Commission (NUC) to run the new unbundling curriculum. This was made known in a circular by the institution, signed by the registrar, Olugbenga Arajulu.
The circular read in part: “Sequel to the full accreditation of the Department of Mass Communication, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko(AAUA) is hereby inviting applications from 2021 UTME candidates to register for AAUA Post-UTME admissions screening.
According to the circular, candidates who made the institution their first choice in the 2020/2021 UTME are eligible for screening into the department.
The circular added that prospective applicants who sat for the UTME, scored 180 and above, are willing to change and make the institution their first choice, should also apply.

The circular directed eligible candidates to visit the University website https://putme.aaua.edu.ng
“for registration for the screening after making a payment of two thousand naira into the university screening portal.”
However, the management notified prospective applicants that registration for the 2021/2022 online screening exercise which commenced in February 2022 was still ongoing; urged the students to debunk rumour that the university has a preferred candidate to be first considered for admission.
