Akwa United held Abia Warriors to a goalless draw on MatchDay 17 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.
Abia Warriors 16th on the NPFL table were expected to capitalise on its home advantage to edge the Promise Keepers from Uyo, surprisingly, were neutralised by the visitors to parry the game to a draw.
The game between the teams brought the number of draws in their last five outings to three.
