Terrorists killed 50 katsina Residents in One Month

No fewer than 50 persons including women and children were slaughter in one month by rampaging terrorists in Katsina state, the Coalition of Northern Groups has disclosed.
The group coordinator, Comrade Jamilu Aliyu Charanchi who made this disclosure in a condolence message to the state Governor, Aminu Bello Masari expressed shock over the development.
The group which blamed political leaders over the near collapse of the security architecture in the state, noted in dismay that virtually all the security agencies were grossly understaffed, ill-equipped and poorly motivated to sufficiently confront the monstrous and rampaging bandits.

It stated that some communities were already under the control of terrorists, where levies and illegal taxes are forcefully imposed on the people, subjecting them to further economic hardship.
While expressing sympathy to families who lost their loved ones to the activities of the bandits, the group urged youths in the state to “rise up to the occasion” in putting the unwholesome activities of the bandits to check.
The group, however enjoined traditional rulers and the different communities in the state to work together in order to defeat the bandits completely
