2023: Groups laud Isiguzoro, Okwu for fighting lgbo cause

Coalition of Igbo groups has lauded the Secretary-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and Mazi Okay Nnabuike-led youth Council for the remarkable ways they have has defending the Igbo cause across the seven speaking states.

The groups in a statement signed by prof. Mrs Helen Ogbonnaya president, south-east women professionals, Pharmast Joshua Onwuamodo, secretary-General Nzuko Ndigbo and Barr. Chukwuebuka Alaike-Nwosu, President world lgbo Youth Congress demand unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader.

“We demand the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu, championing political Justice for southeast through the 2023 Southern Presidency, and fight against the imported insecurity challenges in the southeast region.” CIG salutes the remarkable bravery and uncommon strength demonstrated in the line of duty by Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro Secretary General Ohanaeze Ndigbo to wage war against the corrupt politicians and external Igbo detractors”.

The groups alleged that they have uncovered the sponsored assaults emanating from the clandestine meetings held by enemies of Ndigbo and uncircumcised youths who are paid agents of unpopular Presidential candidate to malign and tarnished the office of Secretary General Ohanaeze Ndigbo for supporting a popular Presidential candidate who is the choice of Nigerians for 2023.

“We have also passed a vote of confidence on the Mazi Okwu Nnabuike-led Ohanaeze Ndigbo youth council, Igbo groups attended the 2020 convention that produced the apex Igbo youth organization Leadership in December 2020 amid the observation of Covid-19 protocols, and any other Igbo Youth groups without known address or not registered in CAC are impostors and not Igbo”.

It vowed to sanction all faceless groups, as well as emergency organizations without office addresses, adding that there were fruitless attempts to use one Igboayaka Olajide and Olushola Igboayaka to malign Igbo leadership.

“Attempts to use imposters as they earlier used them in splitting up Afenifere over 2023 has been uncovered, they cannot split Ohanaeze Ndigbo with cheap propaganda and campaign of calumny, Ndigbo is too sophisticated and complex for marauders ”
