NBA Oleh branch elects new exco

Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Oleh Branch has elected a new executive to run its affairs for the next two years.

The election was held at Excon Oil Nigeria Limited conference hall, Irri in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Barr. John Urete was unanimously elected unopposed as chairman. Others elected are: Barr. R. Akpoghalino – Vice Chairman, Barr. David Ezeh -Secretary, Barr. A. D Eni-Mukoro – Assistant Secretary, Barr. Okemena Edi (Mrs.) – Treasurer, Barr. Nkechi Tracy Ogude -Social Secretary, Barr. Ijeoma Justice Adiela – Publicity Secretary, Barr. Itedjere O. Jude – Welfare Secretary and Barr. Israel Ekperuru – Provost.

In his acceptance speech, Urete thanked members of the branch for the confidence they reposed in him by unanimously electing him unopposed as their chairman.

He promised to ensure unity among members of the branch, stating that the new executives will reach out to aggrieved ones.

He pledged that the new executives will collaborate with members of the branch to ensure the speedy completion of the Bar centre. It will also build a sustainable bar and bench relationship.

Urete also assured members of the branch that his era will facilitates stamp and seal request among others.
