Encounter with trans-generational greatness

By Gabriel Omonhinmin

The grand finale of Christ The King Rescue Global Ministry’s annual seven-day special events which took place on 29th June 2022 attracted a large crowd of worshippers.

The large crowd was an indication that something special is in the offing. The worshippers for that day were made up mostly of women, young and old trooping into the church auditorium in Yewande area in Ifo LGA of Ogun State.

This attracted the Trumpet Religion Desk’s curiosity.

At the parked auditorium, Prophet Gabriel Onaolapo, the President of CK-REGLOM as the church is fondly called, whose turn it was, to minister on that day in appreciation, reeled out the names of the six Pastors, who had earlier ministered the previous Wednesday.

With the opening remarks, the entire church went into a frenzy of prayer sessions for the country and congregants. Then this breathtaking sermon lasted for one hour and twenty minutes.

INTRODUCTION -There is what is referred to as Jewish phenomenon, Greatness is ingrained in you. Greatness is in your DNA. It’s part of your heritage because you are made in the image and likeness of our Great God. Not to be great is an aberration.

Failure is an insult to who you are. Ignorance, Indolence, blurred vision, refusal to act on ideas and divine leading can prevent you from becoming great. But as human beings, we need to understand greatness as it relates to our life’s assignment and purpose so that we don’t keep chasing shadows and die as miserable people. To buttress his point further, Prophet Onaolapo said, “A cow can’t pray and plans to be pumped to be as big as an elephant.
