Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo is considering quitting Old Trafford due to the failure of the management to bring in new signings to the club.
The 37-year-old is bordered and expects the club and the new manager Erik ten Hag to exploit the summer transfer window to bolster the squad before the new season begins.
In a report by a Portuguese media, Record, Ronaldo has told his close circle if Manchester United are unwilling to do something tangible in the transfer window he would quit.
This is the second England spell of the player, who scored 24 goals in 37 appearances for the club last season.
With links reportedly stating that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner could move to Italy with Juventus his probable destination, Ronaldo stressed that there is a need to take the club back to the glory days.

However, Ronaldo is confident that Ten Hag can make history with the club judging by his antecedents with Ajax.
According to the former Real Madrid forward, the Dutch coach needs all the support and time to usher his style of play which if successful, everybody takes the glory.
“What I know about him is he did a fantastic job for Ajax, that he’s an experienced coach. But we need to give him time,” Ronaldo told United.
“Things need to change the way he wants. I hope we have success, of course, because, if you have success, all of Manchester is going to have success as well. I wish him the best,” he added.
The Portuguese return to England after 12 years saw him win the United’s famous Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award last season.
Meanwhile, reports from Spain say Bayern Munich will swoop on the player should Robert Lewandowski joins Barcelona who tendered a £40m bid on Thursday.
Although Bavarians are adamant about allowing the Pole to leave Allianz Arena, the club has pencilled Ronaldo as a prime target should their topstriker leave for Camp Nou.
