Italy’s top-flight club, Inter Milan are set to raid two Serie A clubs should they sell their priced centre-back, Milan Skriniar, to Paris Saint-German this summer.

Skriniar, who has been a centre of attraction for top European clubs striving to bolster their defensive lineup for the new season, has seen Par de Princes enter into a negotiation with Nerazzurri. The Trumpet Gathered

According to a report from Italy, Inter’s asking price for the defender is circa €80m but Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla believes the club will sell the Slovak for about €65m plus additional performance-related add-ons.

However, Nerazzurri are looking beyond the proposed departure of Skriniar and have pencilled Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic and Torino’s Gleison Bremer as replacements.

Inter considers both defenders, whose deals will be funded from part of the proceeds from Skriniar’s deal, as the perfect patch-up for the defensive lapses that will be created following the success of the deal with PSG.

Another Italian report opined that Torino may peg Bremer’s asking price at circa €40m but Inter hope to enter into a negotiation believing the club can snap him for less.

Meanwhile, a counter-report by Sky Sport Italia market expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter will sign Bremer regardless of the outcome of PSG’s deal for Skriniar.

According to him, Bremer has long been admired by the Nerazzurri, who will next week, hold talks with Torino to bring him to San Siro.

Marzio added that Torino’s defender is not pencilled to replace Skriniar but Fiorentina’s Milenkovic, who is the actual target proposed to replace the Slovak, should he leave for Paris.

Inter signed the 27 years old Skriniar in 2017 from Sampdoria in a deal worth €20m plus striker Gianluca Caprari. The Slovak has featured 215 times for Nerazzurri, scoring 11 goals in the process coupled with 4 assists.
