Leading noodles brand, Indomie Noodles has commenced a new campaign aimed at celebrating the unconditional love between mothers and their children.
The campaign, which started online with ‘unconditional love’ as its harsh tag, took most Nigerians by storm, as it trended for days and ranked as the number one online content with people sharing stories of the unconditional love from their mothers.
A poll was conducted on Twitter to determine the best expression of unconditional love with categories such as mother’s love, love for football, relationship love and love for food. The mother’s love won the unconditional love poll by 84 per cent.
Besides the online en gagement, Indomie noodles collaborated with the Lagos State government-owned Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) to offer free rides to mothers at selected terminals from March 24 to March 27, 2022.
The climax of the cam paign was the release of a new television commercial on unconditional love, just as it saw Indomie celebrate mothers at the 2022 Mothers’ Day celebration.
Group Corporate Commu nications and Events Manager, Dufil Prime Food Plc, Temitope Ashiwaju, said: “A mother’s love is unconditional even when the children do not deserve it, The Trumpet gathered.
They express their love to their kids in different forms, especially with delicious bowls of Indomie. Mothers are always relent lessly performing their duties towards ensuring the well-being of their children and family day – in and day – out without fail or break even at their own expense,” he stated.

He described the campaign as an emotional reflection on mothers’ unconditional love for their children despite all their shortcomings and how Indomie has been quite handy as a bargaining tool, especially when mothers need to negotiate terms with their children.
Ashiwaju further explained that the new commercial exposes the unconditional love between a mother and a child right from birth through the upbringing and taking care of them despite some of the challenges they face.
“We are confident that the new theme of the campaign will adequately showcase the special love of mothers for their children, even as it will help to engender a better society,” he said
