2023: Joel-Onowakpo Thomas gets Concerned Isoko Elites’ nod for Senate

The senatorial ambition of Mr Joel-Onowakpo Thomas received a boost on Wednesday as the Concerned Isoko Elites promised support for the politician.
He is the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for Delta South Senatorial District for the 2023 election.
Endorsing him in Asaba after a meeting of the group, the President General, Mayor Blessing said that Thomas Joel Onowakpo deserves the group’s support because of his philanthropic activities across the state, notably in areas of educational scholarship programmes and youth empowerment.

Also, the group recognized the efforts of Thomas Joel-Onowakpo in generating the highest Internally Generally Revenue (IGR) during his tenure as Chairman of Delta State Board of Internal Revenue which made it possible for prompt payment of worker’s monthly salaries.
The group look up to the senatorial hopeful to chart a leadership course which is highly missing among the Isoko people during the last eight years of this dispensation while lamenting the marginalization of Isoko in political positions such as the Governor, Deputy Governor, among others.
