Social media went inflamed after Honest Bunch podcaster presenter, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel popularly known as Nedu, was accused of spreading false claims about having an intimate relationship with skit maker, JoJo of Lele. The controversy erupted when online personality, VeryDarkMan (VDM), publicly apologized to JoJo in a viral TikTok live session but doubled down on his claim that Nedu did, in fact, make such statements.
JoJo, who recently went viral after breaking down in tears over the allegations, confirmed during the interview that she had heard the same rumor before. “It’s not the first time I’ve heard this,” she admitted, adding that she once confronted Nedu back in 2020, but he denied it.
VDM, who initially put JoJo in the spotlight, expressed regret, saying, “I usually don’t apologize, but I thought—what if she was my sister? I felt bad.” He then insisted, “But actually, Nedu said it.”
The interview took another shocking turn when VDM revealed that an anonymous influencer confessed to having an affair with Nedu in exchange for a podcast opportunity—a promise he allegedly never fulfilled.
JoJo also accused Nedu of using her name to boost his credibility, stating, “He has done nothing for me. I’ve worked hard for myself, yet he wants to take the glory.”

The scandal has sparked massive backlash against Nedu, with fans questioning the credibility of the Honest Bunch podcast. VDM further alleged that the show is notorious for exposing celebrities and acting as a front for other questionable activities.
While Nedu has yet to respond publicly to these allegations, the internet remains divided, with many calling for accountability and others questioning VDM’s credibility.
