ICPC to roll out ethics, integrity compliance scorecard in Federal MDAs
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has announced plans to deploy its Ethics and Integrity Compliance Scorecard (EICS) across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of the Federal Government.

The announcement was made by the ICPC Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner (RACC) for Adamawa State, Mr. Okoro J. Ulu, during a courtesy visit to the management of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Hong. Mr. Ulu revealed that the deployment of the EICS is part of the Commission’s broader effort to curb corruption and strengthen ethics in public sector operations.

According to the Commissioner, the EICS is an annual anti-corruption assessment tool designed to evaluate the level of compliance of MDAs with ethical standards and integrity protocols.

He encouraged the management of FMC Hong to support the constitution of an ACTU to work in synergy with the ICPC in driving internal reforms and promoting a corruption-free environment.

“We are here to partner with you to reduce incidences of corruption and ensure that ethical practices are institutionalized,” he said.

In response, Prof. Yakub Wilberforce Nyandati, Chief Medical Director of FMC Hong, welcomed the initiative and expressed readiness to collaborate with the Commission. He affirmed that the hospital would begin the process of constituting its ACTU and participate actively in the upcoming EICS and System Study and Review Exercise.
