An Abujan man has narated how his Toyota Camry Pencil Light was stolen at the TULSI Chanrai Foundation Eye Hospital in Abuja, on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
The car owner, Dior Samuel, told our reporter that he parked his vehicle at the hospital’s car park on Saturday morning, and went into the medical facility for an eye examination that lasted no more than one hour.
“When I returned to the parking area, I discovered that my car was missing from the spot where I left it,” Samuel recounted.
A witness present at the time of the theft, disclosed that he observed the thief driving away at high speed, not realizing the vehicle had been stolen.

As at the time of this report, an anonymous source indicated that this was not an isolated event at the hospital premises.
The source noted that a similar theft had taken place the previous month.
According to the source, the hospital’s security staff were present in the parking area, yet they appeared unaware of the situation.
