“After careful consideration and reflection, I am thrilled to announce that I have decided to rejoin the All Progressives Congress (APC) alongside the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori.”

The governor’s aide explained that his decision to join the APC feels like a homecoming to him, because he was once a proud member of the APC from June 2018 to September 2021.

“During my previous stint in the party, I had the privilege of working with like-minded individuals who shared a common vision for our state’s progress and development, and for Isoko in particular.

“It’s an honour to reunite with my old folks, leaders and colleagues who have remained steadfast in their commitment to the APC’s ideology,” he said.

Emakpor added that as an aide to Gov. Oborevwori, he has witnessed firsthand the governor’s dedication to the welfare and prosperity of Delta State.

“Our decision to join the APC is driven by our shared values and vision for a better Delta State, where our citizens can live in peace, prosperity, and harmony.

“We believe that this mass movement to the APC is in the best interest of achieving more for Deltans,” the governor’s aide declared.

He expressed gratitude to the PDP for the opportunities given him to serve the state, noting that he has realised that the values and goals he cherishes are better represented by the APC, given the realities in the PDP at the national level.

He, however, pledged to continue serving the state with dedication, integrity, and passion with more focus on his dream for the advancement of the Isoko cause.

“I am confident that our decision will bring about positive change and development to Delta State and the long-term goal of the Isoko Ethnic Nationality.

“I urge all Deltans to join us in this new journey, working together to build a brighter future for our state,” he said.
