Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has called on the people of Warri Federal Constituency to be cautious in their utterances, over the controversial ward and unit delineation report released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Gov. Oborevwori, handed down the advice on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Delta State House of Assembly complex in Asaba, shortly after reading his state-of-the-state address before members of the Delta State House of Assembly.
The governor spoke in reaction to social media comments by some Itsekiri, Ijaw, and Urhobo stakeholders within Warri Federal Constituency and beyond.

He stated: “To my people in Warri Federal Constituency, I am a governor for all Deltans. Let’s guard our utterances. I am a Warri brought up, and I stay in Warri.
“You said I haven’t spoken on the ward delineation by INEC. Now, I have spoken, allow the relevant government agencies to do their work.”
