The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has inaugurated the E-invoicing committee at its headquarters in Abuja.
The event included a comprehensive presentation, outlining the roadmap and strategic milestones necessary for the successful implementation of e-invoicing.
A key highlight of the session was the emphasis on collaboration between the FIRS and important stakeholders, including the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS), the Nigeria Customs Service, financial institutions, and taxpayers.

Additionally, in recognition of his steadfast dedication to employee welfare and the implementation of high-quality health and safety measures in the workplace, the executive chairman of FIRS was awarded the Safety Champion award by the Institute of Safety Professionals, Abuja chapter.
