The Federal Government of Nigeria has disclosed plans to distribute between ₦50,000 to ₦500,000 grants to young individuals as part of the Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme, referred to as YEIDEP, commencing in July 2025.

According to a source, recipients will receive grants ranging from fifty thousand naira to five hundred thousand naira, based on the details of their applications and business plans.

The YEIDEP funding scheme is designed to support Nigerian youth in starting their own enterprises, reducing unemployment rates, and encouraging financial independence.

Since its launch, this initiative has drawn in over 4.6 million participants, emphasizing the strong desire among the youth in Nigeria for meaningful change. Over 4.6 Million Young People Enrolled in YEIDEP.
