The allocation followed the FAAC meeting held in July 2025 in Abuja, where government officials assessed revenue inflows and approved the distribution to the three levels of government.

The document also indicated that the total gross revenue available for June was N4.232 trillion.

From this, N162.786 billion was deducted for collection costs, while N2.251 trillion was allocated for transfers, interventions, refunds, and savings.
