The Cosmas Oliseh family has shared the sad news of Uche Oliseh’s passing, who died on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the age of 51, following a brief illness.
Uche was known for his kindness and lively spirit, and he was cherished as a son, brother, and father.
He leaves behind four children, his parents, and siblings, including Churchill Oliseh and Sunday Oliseh, a former international and coach of the Super Eagles.
Sunday Oliseh confirmed his brother’s death in a heartfelt social media post, stating that Uche succumbed to malaria after a short struggle.

“It hurts so deeply, more than I have ever experienced,” he expressed.
“There are countless things I wish I could talk about, laugh over, and do with Uche, but unfortunately, that is no longer possible.”
