The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has commissioned the newly established Nigeria Police Intelligence School in Share, Kwara State.
Designed as a modern training center, the police intelligence school will offer comprehensive programmes in intelligence analysis, cybercrime investigations, forensic science, and counter-terrorism, among other areas.
Open to members of other security and intelligence agencies, the school aims to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and enhance Nigeria’s internal security framework.
Ebgetokun assured the host community that the institution will commence full-scale operations immediately.

The inspector-general of police was accompanied by top-ranking police officers, from the Force Headquarters and the state commissioner of police during the commissioning ceremony.
Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, represented by the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Community Development, Abubakar Bata, commended the Egbetokun’s vision in establishing the school.
He lauded the project as a significant addition to the state’s infrastructure and a strong indicator of the inspector-general of police’s commitment to combating crime through improved intelligence capacity.
