The EFCC alleges that the accused persons conspired to misappropriate assets belonging to the airline, which was taken over by AMCON in 2017 due to its heavy indebtedness.

When the charges which include allegations of diverting properties and funds under the guise of asset management were read in court, the defendants all pleaded not guilty.

Justice Mojisola Dada subsequently adjourned the matter for trial and ordered that the defendants be remanded in custody, pending the perfection of their bail conditions.
