Asari's security outfit rescues 19 kidnapped victims in Rivers

The Royal Fouche Security outfit, operated by ex-Niger Delta warlord, Alhaji Mujaheed Asari Dokubo has rescued 19 kidnapped victims in Rivers State.

Among the victims are 13 passengers traveling from Bille Community, including students traveling to write the WAEC examination and six others traveling to Bonny Island.

The victims were attacked by daredevil hoodlums at Isaka in Okrika Local Government Area about three weeks ago.

Asari, who is also the Amanyanabo of Torusarama Piri, said the victims were rescued on Monday, May 26, 2025.

In a trending online video, Asari disclosed that he deployed his ‘Amama soldiers’ at the request of the state director of security for his assistance in rescuing the kidnapped victims.

According to the monarch, one of the victims, who paid N10 million as ransom for his release, assisted his men in locating the kidnappers’ den and rescuing the victims unhurt.

“The hoodlums fled upon sighting operatives of the Royal Fouche Security Services. One of them, however, was apprehended and brought back to his palace in Elem Kalabari,” Asari said in the trending video.

Asari, who condemned the act of kidnapping, referred to it as “stealing of fellow human beings and transacting business with them”.

He stated that due process would be followed in dealing with the arrested kidnap suspect.

“He further explained that he was sleeping when the rescue operation took place, adding that he was not part of the kidnapping operation,” Asari further stated in the video.

The Bille kidnapping incident involving school children traveling for the WAEC examination particularly drew outrage across the state.

When the kidnapping occurred, women from the area had thronged the Government House, Port Harcourt, urging the state administrator to rise to the occasion and ensure the release of the children and other victims.
