Socio-political group NdokwaForward has praised Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for turning the long-awaited Kwale Free Trade Zone (KFTZ) into reality, describing it as a major step in Delta’s economic transformation drive.
In a statement signed by Hon. (Barr.) Sam Osasa, Dr. George Ugbomah, and Chief Isaac Onyesom, the group commended Governor Oborevwori’s “purposeful and visionary leadership,” adding that the successful groundbreaking of the KFTZ represents “a historic milestone in the economic emancipation of the Ndokwa Nation and Delta State.”
The group noted that the new Free Trade Zone will unlock vast economic opportunities through job creation, industrial expansion, and foreign investment inflows. It stressed that the initiative would firmly place Ndokwa land on the map as a leading industrial and commercial hub in the South-South region.
“The Kwale Free Trade Zone is a game changer that will energize small and medium enterprises, empower our youths, and uplift the living standards of our people,” the group stated.

NdokwaForward reaffirmed its unwavering confidence in Governor Oborevwori’s leadership, declaring full support for his administration and re-election ambition, which it described as “a collective project for the people of Ndokwa land.”
The group also applauded Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme for his unwavering commitment and contribution to the success of the project, describing him as “an illustrious son of Ndokwa whose dedication to the progress of the area remains unmatched.”
NdokwaForward pledged continued partnership with the state government, promising to back every policy and project that promotes development and strengthens the economic foundation of both Ndokwa and Delta State as a whole.
